In which a Mastodon correspondent suggests it would be wiser to wait till the chipped person shows up to be verified, as SpaceBrat may not have subscribed to the Truth-Speaking feature.

This right here from @Daojoan is precisely why I've not spoken about the Nuralink claims of first human usage.
I don't trust a single word out of Elon's mouth. I'm waiting for confirmation of installation of an active Neurolink chip/cell/system/whatever via a reliable third party.
Any claims it does anything other than exist in the brain will require similar third party confirmation for me.
He has been caught out too many times on promises for what things will do and claims things are already doing.

Rob customers? Ya. Rob employees? Sure, everyone does.
But ye cannae rob the shareholders, it seems.
A judge has ruled that Elon Musk's record-breaking $US56 billion ($84 billion) Tesla pay package could be voided, calling the compensation "an unfathomable sum" that was not fair to shareholders.
Kathaleen McCormick of Delaware's Court of Chancery found the package was negotiated by directors who seemed beholden to their headline-making CEO and the promise of allowing him to share in the company's enormous growth.

Pedo judge? Commie judge?
See how freedom is being eroded?
Seriously though, he may win the appeal so....

Soooooo....
How does one go about negotiating a new pay deal when the people one would normally be negotiating with have been found by a court of law to be spineless yes men and not to be trusted with the task?
probly belongs in the same bucket as:

Elon Musk says his ambitions to make Tesla more than just an automaker depend on him gaining far more control over the company. The controversial CEO took to his social media platform X to say that unless he is awarded another 12 percent of the company, which would give him ownership of 25 percent of Tesla, he would be "uncomfortable growing Tesla to be a leader in AI & robotics."

For the lack of a coat or two of clear paint...
One of the more standout qualities of the Tesla Cybertruck is its bare stainless-steel body. The stainless-steel body gives the Cybertruck a unique design, but also brings unique problems. While some people believe that stainless steel can’t rust, the truth of the matter is that stainless steel can and will rust, which is something Cybertruck owners are quickly learning.
Last month, an X user called Beer Muncher took to the social media platform to share a screenshot of Tesla’s cleaning requirements found in the owner’s manual for the electric pickup. In the screenshot, Tesla claims that owners have to “immediately remove corrosive substances (such as grease, oil, bird droppings, tree resin, dead insects, tar spots, road salt, industrial fallout, etc.).” Additionally, the owners’ manual urgers Cybertruck owners not to wait until the truck needs a complete wash, but to use “denatured alcohol to remove tar spots and stubborn grease stains, then immediately wash the area with water and a mild, non-detergent soap to remove the alcohol.”
Some people may wonder what the big deal is. Normal cars need to be washed and cleaned regularly. But, what makes the Cybertruck more unique than other vehicles on the road is that its body doesn’t have a clear coat. That means that any corrosive substances that come in contact with the body have to be cleaned immediately or they’ll heavily damage the stainless steel body.

For some it may look really cool when it has that lovely rusted patina, if you don't like it, well too bad.

twitter kills nitter. As always, the message is "go fuck yourselves". Nitter's parting riposte:
"Don't trust corporations, especially those where one egomaniac has all the power. Use open-source and community driven solutions if you can (like Mastodon)."

Apparently ordering huge amounts of food and cancelling at the last minute to send local businesses broke, makes me wonder whether he is in the process of starting up a high tech pie making business and wants to make sure there is no competition;
A California bakery owner was left “high and dry” after electric car maker Tesla placed an order for $US16,000 ($24,374) worth of pies – only to cancel just before the delivery went out the door.
I mean it was a verbal agreement, but with witnesses it should be enforceable by a court, but he would follow Trump's play card and just stretch it out and out until the shop had to give in or go broke so there's probably little point in fighting. There needs to be some sort of law reform that prevents billionaires doing that sort of shit, there really does!
When she inquired with Tesla about the cancellation, she was told the decision came from upper management.
Upper management, yeah right! And further;
According to the New York Post, the Tesla worker reportedly told the Black business owner, beloved by other Silicon Valley heavyweights, the company wanted the pies delivered the following week for an event to commemorate Black History Month.
We all know Musk is a racist fuck, black history month lol, he would have caught wind of this and ordered them to cancel, what's the bet the cancellation came straight from the top!

You've gotta have enough lawyers to get through SpaceBrat's lawyers first...
Several former Twitter executives filed a lawsuit on Monday alleging Elon Musk illegally tried to stiff them out of severance totaling roughly $128 million. Musk is portrayed in the lawsuit as a petty and vindictive man who, “uses his wealth and power to run roughshod over anyone who disagrees with him.” And it gets even more pointed in its attacks from there.
The lawsuit, a copy of which was first published by Platformer, was brought by former Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal, former CFO Ned Segal, and former Twitter lawyers Vijaya Gadde and Sean Edgett. And their lawyers aren’t holding back when it comes to ways to describe Musk.
