Some youtube video hosting?
Just use the media embed tags (far right of the various tags when editing/creating a post).

Can't seem to get mastodon working, sigh... more testing over the weekend I guess..

Example below, you don't even need to wrap it in media tags, just post the link in and it does it automatically.
Below I just posted the following and it automatically put the preview in
