Can you have different levels of inevitability, even in the Washingotn Post? If it's even more inevitable today than it was yesterday, will it soon it will be... inevitably inevitable.

Toontown Council deploys "do you still beat your wife?" approach in campaign to prevent abuse of staff.
Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) is asking members of the public to show respect for its workforce by stopping physical or verbal threats to staff.
1. Does that imply I have to start first?
2. (Thinks of a court case in which Arbuthnot J Buggernaut intervenes to stop a car owner from telling off one of Council's "demon yellowcoat" parking guys, and gets a whack in the face for his trouble. Is the Mayor's request to stop physical/verbal threats to be construed as an offer to contract, and is there some expectation Council will accept liability?)
3. Needs a better Press Office.

Finding ridiculous uses of the word "literally" is too easy, or perhaps I should say I'm literally shooting fish in a barrel. Here's Alok Sharma, saving the world by getting pissed before he travels to a prohibition state.
“We are literally in the last chance saloon to save our children’s future.”
