Dammit, will somebody paint one bunch of charlatans blue and the other lot red?

I'm getting too old to see the supposed subtle differences between 'em.
Albanese vowed his government would be different. He pledged his government would be transparent, it would respect the parliament and its checks and balances, it would allow debate and be accountable for the decisions it makes.

Yet if this week is anything to go by, Labor has shown time and time again just how far it has fallen from these promises.

Like the NDIS improvements aren't happening, like recommended overhauls to the useless, punitive (but lucrative to some) unemployment regime, there's the matter of undue influence by those who lobby.

Neither party of conservatives are touching that either.
