Before Lemmy showed me the True Way, I thought you had to be this guy



to do chords, play lead, and other unheard-of stuff with a bass.

But the lion's share of the arranging and orchestration, etc, was done by the wee top-hatted chap on piano and (briefly, at the end) tubular bells.

Covid is a drag, but I've been listening to The Move, the whole discography basically. I've also been working on my own cover versions of songs, I'm just now doing preliminary research on "Blackberry Way", surely the biggest bummer of song ever to make number one, a dirge of fabulousness. But I love all their stuff, I love it when Carl Wayne finally gets to have a bit of a go and is not squeezed out by Roy Wood's overbearing talent.
