Who woulda thunk Mel Gibson could end up in this thread!!!
During a speech at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday night, actor Mel Gibson implied that California wildfires might be deliberately set by political opponents of Donald Trump. Gibson stated:
"…4 years of thinly veiled Marxism, and, you know, now I think what we have is a four-year grace period. But we have to work hard for all of it. And I don’t know. The president’s got a big job on his hands to turn this place around. A lot of damage was done, and they continue to start fires, like around my house..."

It's funny how this is vile merchandise glorifying the killer of a CEO, and yet this isn't;
WASHINGTON (Nexstar) – Some Republicans in Congress are wearing pins in the shape of an assault weapon in committee meetings and on the House floor. While Democrats says the pins are insensitive and out of touch, Republicans say it’s their right to stand up for issues they believe in.
New Republican Congress members, like George Santos and Ana Paulina Luna, are wearing lapel pins shaped like assault-style rifles.
“To be promoting them on the floor of the House, is despicable and I think an insult to all of the victims of assault weapons,” Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-NY) said.
It's ok to shoot random black people, apparently, but not ok to shoot white corporate executives.
It's not ok to shoot anyone, obviously, and there are differences between the two cases but the maga hysteria over exec assassination compared to their treatment of Rittenhouse is stark.
Apparently corporations are spending huge amounts of money on top tier security from top security companies because a single CEO has been shot, a mass school shooting with 20+ dead? "Give teachers guns!" Suggest they save a lot of money and supply CEO's with guns and bulletproof backpacks. Funnily enough a bulletproof backpack of the kind kids are now being encouraged to use just may have saved this CEO's life! That seems a much cheaper solution!

I love that security costs are going up for the corporate class, it's about fucking time! Of course they'll just pass the costs on to us, but in its way, that'll just further increase security costs - i wonder where it'll all end?
The only problem with 1789 was 1790. The young will fight for their lives if they realize who is destroying their futures. They might get a better idea of who exactly that is over the next four years, i suspect. If so, they probably won't avoid 1790 though, but who knows?
