Its about land. Humans are colonial organisms, and they aggregate in such colonies. Politically they decide who is in and who is out of such colonies. Israel specifically categorises itself by race, specifically the Jewish race, even though scientifically there is no such category as race, it is merely a political and flexible construct.
Palestine on the other hand has no such racial definition. That's a moral plus for Palestine while Israel is considered a special case because of European Christendom's historical animus and genocide against Jewish people over the course of a thousand years or more.

So again looking at the issue from an ecological point of view, with serious population increase in Israel as well as Palestine, unless there can be a political decision between the two populations to share the land as a single ecological colony, there will continue to be serious conflict.

I do not see the difference between hand killing of Palestinian/Israeli civilians for example in the Sabra Shatilla massacres by Ariel Sharon and the Christian militia under his control, the bombings of Palestinians, or the killings in the Hamas attacks. Calling one as terrorism and the other as not is just genocide mongering.

I forget where I saw the idea that, "if Israel didn't exist as an excuse for the USA to keep weapons, troops, etc near Middle East oil, then someone would have had to invent it", but it rings fairly true for me.

We now have it as international law. Ten dark civilians are not worth mentioning in the face of every or any white death. At least Palestinians are mostly counted. The rest of the Global South can forget it, their deaths are not counted.
Compulsory condemnations, yes killing should be used not deaths.

The Israeli government published that Hamas killed 40 children in the 7th October 2023 assault and aftermath. There may be others as well and some were also kidnapped.
In response Israel had by 29th October been reported to have killed 3,324.

Those figures are now three days old so the total civilian death toll has climbed by thousands since then, and also it was reported a thousand missing children under the rubble too.

So all told lets conservatively say 4000 children in a little over three weeks killed by Israel, while 40 were killed during the Hamas attacks, noting also that Israel is alleged to have fired at Hamas and hostages together, as it continues to do.

Now clearly the figures for Israeli children have to be compiled. But it has to be said here that quantity has a quality all of its own. Israel's actions clearly amount to Genocide.
