Quite a few of Australia's original people lost their heads to phrenology, in a literal way.

The pale people had the luxury of just going all fannish for it.

And while popular phrenology was at its height in Australia more than 150 years ago, there are some parallels with today.

For Dr Bradley, it's about the relationship between science and the world of self-help.
