Donald Trump on his son Barron: “He can look at a computer... I turn off his laptop, I said, ‘Oh good,’ and I go back about five minutes later, he’s got his laptop, I say, ‘How do you do that?’.. He’s got an unbelievable aptitude in technology.
So brilliant, just like North Korea's Kims - Il Sung, Jong Il and Jong Un. Let's put the Dear Leader on Mount Rushmore, the 100 and 250 dollar notes, and name an airport after him. It's also indistinguishable from parody. He's the greatest President in American history, doncha know? WORLD history!

The inconvenient fact, confirmed by geologists etc, that you can't actually put another head on Mt Rushmore because all of the mountain suitable for such a huge, I hesitate to say but I must, even if it's bad it's still artwork, was used for the first four heads and the part of the mountain left is too fractured and unstable to actually support another head, is conveniently ignored!

I might just add that Six Grandfathers (Mt.Rushmore) is one of the most sacred sites for more than one first nation. It is the equal of craving Aussie PMs heads into Uluru. This was known by the politicians and sculptors at the time, and that played a part in why it went ahead. The sculpture is disgusting and obscene, so that would suit Trump, but i'm glad it can't be expanded.

Reading about Brisbane's idiotic olympics nightmare has reminded me that the 2028 olympics are in LA. On the current trajectory, which may even intensify, the US will be a giant prison state by 2028, they'll also be in the middle of primaries for the presidential election! So, so much can go wrong.

It's all so very Berlin 1936 really.

God only knows what the US will be like in 2028 of course, but i'll be getting behind the inevitable boycott LA olympics movement.

Huge...HUGE security breach from the White House, involving Hesgeth, Vance, Rubio, Ratcliffe, Gabbard, Bessent, WH chief of staff, top pentagon officials and an as yet unconfirmed nominee for a top job who wouldn't yet have full security clearance, and, wait for it, a reporter from The Atlantic! Apparently they were posting plans of attack, times and etc over the Signal messaging app, lol and accidentally invited a reporter,
Hours before those attacks started, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth posted operational details about the plan in the messaging group, "including information about targets, weapons the U.S. would be deploying, and attack sequencing," Goldberg said. His report omitted the details but Goldberg termed it a "shockingly reckless" use of a Signal chat.
Accounts that appeared to represent Vice President JD Vance, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, White House chief of staff Susie Wiles, and senior National Security Council officials were assembled in the chat group, Goldberg wrote.
Joe Kent, Trump's nominee for National Counterterrorism Center director, was apparently on the Signal chain despite not yet being Senate-confirmed.
Trump told reporters at the White House that he was unaware of the incident. "I don't know anything about it. I'm not a big fan of The Atlantic," Trump said. A White House official said later that an investigation was under way and Trump had been briefed on it.
A lot of noise from the Dems as usual, wonder if this will go anywhere:
Democratic lawmakers called the use of the Signal group illegal and demanded an investigation.
"This is one of the most stunning breaches of military intelligence that I have read about in a very, very long time," Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer said, adding that he would ask Majority Leader John Thune to investigate.
"We're just finding out about it. But obviously, we've got to run it to ground and figure out what went on there. We'll have a plan," said Thune, a Republican from South Dakota.
There was no immediate suggestion from the White House that the breach would lead to any staffing changes.
"President Trump continues to have the utmost confidence in his national security team, including national security adviser Mike Waltz," White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt told Reuters.
Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren said on X the use of Signal to discuss highly sensitive national security issues was "blatantly illegal and dangerous beyond belief."
"Every single one of the government officials on this text chain have now committed a crime – even if accidentally – that would normally involve a jail sentence," Democratic Senator Chris Coons said on X.
"But her servers," is sounding a bit pathetic now right?

This is not completely unexpected given the stupidity, incompetence and hubris of this whole circus. But it is extraordinary, I can't remember anything similar happening at this level before.

Oh and some minor news, they are disbanding FEMA, the states will need to look after their own disaster recovery in the future!

So when people get on the news in front of their wrecked houses moaning about the slow response from the government, well they've fixed all that, it's now no response from the Federal Government. Oh yes and we all know the small southern states, the red states that receive government funding instead of paying in, won't be able to afford it so the population is on their own, California on the other hand will be fine....well unless the big one hits, that'd be a bummer but even FEMA would be a minor actor in that case.

Well Steve, let me explain. Maga is in charge now and climate change isn't real anymore and under maga's efficient running of government there won't be a disaster, so why waste money on Fema? Checkmate radical leftists and trans people.

Then you ask, can it get worse? The answer is, yes it can, you see one of the people involved in the Signal chat about attacking the Houthis was actually in Moscow at the time of the discussion, in Moscow, discussing classified information over a chat app, probably in view of multiple hidden cameras if Putin had anything to say about it. Wonder if his phone connection was being monitored as well.

Trump on massive security breach:
Mr Trump added that it was “the only glitch in two months, and it turned out not to be a serious one”.
These sorts of incidents have sent other people, serfs, people who don't matter to these idiots, to prison for years, as for being the only glitch, who the fuck knows if it is, this time it was a reporter who reported it, last time it could have been Musk, a Russian friend of Tulsi Gabbard, no-one knows. But the fact is, it's not a glitch, that's just downplaying it. There are security rules set in place in the US government specifically designed to prevent such "glitches," this sort of thing should only be discussed in a SCIF, this is why they exist, and you don't connect a chat on an unsecure phone on an unsecure chat program featuring national security issues and classified info to someone in fucking Moscow.

Fact is it's a major security disaster plastered across the world and every other security agency in every western country is looking at the US and, if not laughing, at least deciding that secret info will never be passed to the US again, because if they can fuck up this hugely in 2 month imagine what they can do in 4 years. If they get away with calling this a glitch and nothing happens, they will continue doing this sort of thing, and now foreign actors know they are using unauthorised and insecure phones and chat programs to do it there will be a push to gain access to apps, hackers are now alerted.
