Ok, going to call this as being the shittiest thing I have seen in a long, he has a choice of hitting the car and possibly injuring himself or running over the old lady and the toddler. Could it be, he didn't have the chance to make a decision it was automatic reflexes, possibly, but would I have done the same, I don't think so.

The Dash Cam Thread
Re: The Dash Cam Thread
Most drivers wouldn't have sped through an intersection after the lights turned red and had to face something akin to the "trolley car dilemma" (although I expect that swerving to miss the oncoming car was a reflexive action).stevebrooks wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2024 3:04 pm Ok, going to call this as being the shittiest thing I have seen in a long, he has a choice of hitting the car and possibly injuring himself or running over the old lady and the toddler. I have considered that as a possible, but note he didn't further swerve to miss the old lady and toddler, he could easily have kept his swerve going to miss them, it looked like he swerved then just kept going straight, if he had kept his swerve going he would have missed the pedestrians altogether, it in fact looked like he was turning enough to miss them altogether if he had kept that turn rate up.two dogs wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2024 4:17 pmMost drivers wouldn't have sped through an intersection after the lights turned red and had to face something akin to the "trolley car dilemma" (although I expect that swerving to miss the oncoming car was a reflexive action).stevebrooks wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2024 3:04 pm Ok, going to call this as being the shittiest thing I have seen in a long, he has a choice of hitting the car and possibly injuring himself or running over the old lady and the toddler.
