No it's the Fentanyl of course, ignoring the fact the majority of Fentanyl is actually smuggled across the border by US citizens at border checkpoints. I mean really, who actually thinks those people struggling and drowning in the river are actually carrying backpacks full of Fentanyl. Well no-one should because it's an idiotic suggestion, but that's the fiction the Republican's would have their followers believe.

Just 0.02 percent of the people arrested by Border Patrol for crossing illegally possessed any fentanyl whatsoever.

In 2021, U.S. citizens were 86.3 percent of convicted fentanyl drug traffickers—ten times greater than convictions of illegal immigrants for the same offense.

Over 90 percent of fentanyl seizures occur at legal crossing points or interior vehicle checkpoints, not on illegal migration routes, so U.S. citizens (who are subject to less scrutiny) when crossing legally are the best smugglers.

Just to make it crystal clear what the reaction will be if Trump loses. The Chiefs won the superbowl, Taylor Swift endorses Biden, 21 people injured including eleven minors and one person dead during parade to celebrate Chieftains win;

Eleven injured minors are undergoing treatment after 22 people were hit by gunfire in Kansas City, Missouri, during a Super Bowl victory parade for the Kansas City Chiefs, authorities say.

The Kansas City fire and police departments confirmed one person died and at least 15 others suffered life-threatening injuries after the incident unfolded on Wednesday (local time).

We have yet to hear a motive behind the shootings although it shouldn't be long as 3 people are now in custody. They can't argue that more armed police and bystanders will be the solution to mass shootings as;

Some 800 law enforcement officers, including FBI agents, were already at the scene when the shooting took place.

It's here because it seems it could be right wing politically motivated, if it turns out not to be, well maybe we should move it to mass shootings instead of the politics thread. Just waiting for more news and information.

Ah Alabama, where would the US be without you?

The Alabama Supreme Court on Friday reversed Mobile County Circuit Court Judge Jill Parrish Phillips’ decision to dismiss a lawsuit in which a couple sued an Alabama fertility clinic and hospital for the “wrongful death” of their frozen embryos in a ruling that was riddled with theology. The couple’s frozen embryos were destroyed after a hospital patient who accessed the freezer that held the embryos dropped them on the floor. The ruling means that the couple can sue for wrongful death.

“[T]he Wrongful Death of a Minor Act is sweeping and unqualified. It applies to all children, born and unborn, without limitation,” the ruling said. “It is not the role of this Court to craft a new limitation based on our own view of what is or is not wise public policy. That is especially true where, as here, the People of this State have adopted a Constitutional amendment directly aimed at stopping courts from excluding ‘unborn life’ from legal protection.”

If that's the case then they can also have the patient responsible charged with killing their children right? That's the next logical step! In fact it's the fertility clinics most obvious defense, unless the person responsible for the deaths is charged for the deaths then how is there any proven wrongdoing?

It's far more clear now than it has ever been before.

Now that the Smirnov document has been revealed not just as a lie but as an actual piece of anti-Biden propaganda dictated directly by the Russian intelligence service we must accept that all Republican's are traitors to the US, there's no other conclusion. Some could argue previously they thought there could be some basis on which to believe Biden was involved, however thin the actual evidence was. However the document, the very basis of the impeachment trial and without which there could be no impeachment has been revealed to be a Russian sourced document, and yet they still push the impeachment trial, so we must conclude the directions to continue are coming from Putin himself, relayed through Trump.

These people are traitors to the US, following the directions of the foreign murderous dictator Putin!

I fail to understand how any so called patriotic American could follow them, could vote for them, it's bizarre and sad indictment of the US electoral system!

Now that Alabama Supreme Court has ruled that embryos qualify as children hospitals are ending IVF programs, many IVF programs end up with excess embryos, although they are not supposed to store them indefinitely this ruling by the Supreme Court means they can't discard them without committing a Class 3 Felony so the embryos must sit in storage indefinitely. Previously the "owners", that is people undergoing IVF treatment could authorise disposal of the excess embryos, the hospitals can no longer do this even if requested. It would also seem the hospital could instruct the "owners" to either pay for storage or collect and store the embryos themselves, it raises all sorts of ethical issues as I am sure is clear from this.

If Embryos are children even spontaneous abortions must be considered murder! If parents collect the embryos and dispose of them it will be murder because they are children according to the court, so the hospital should be notifying authorities if the "owners" take the embryos so they can carry out welfare checks. If two people separate and there are IVF embryos then the parent storing them and looking after them should be paid child support. This is a nightmare in process......republicans, they are all mad!

I don't know exactly how influential Jack Posobiec really is, he seems like just another grifter to me, but at least he's honest. And here's me hoping that the US becomes an actual democracy, as opposed to what it is - a soft plutocracy, gerontocracy, kleptocracy, theocracy with anachronistic 18th century electoral systems that have been so thoroughly deconstructed and manipulated they are nothing more than ticks and crosses for the needs of capitalism. But hey, give me what they have now, and give it a thousand times over, rather than what these insane conservative bigots want.

I didn't realise earlier, but this speech was at an official RNC event, the CPAC fundraiser event, this makes everyone who was there complicit, mind you according to news reports the place was empty.....just a reminder the official RNC CPAC fund raiser event was all but empty!
