When you're handing out how to vote cards you have to take the t-shirt off, or any other party paraphernalia, before entering the voting area. It's connected to the secret ballot concept probably, and so as not to intimidate other voters. A bit archaic perhaps but everyone is treated the same, so it's nothing to be annoyed about, in my opinion.

More of the same. Destroy the future for the wealthy today. The health problems of indigenous Australians due to being forced off their traditional water and food sources and for being compelled to drink well-water that destroys their kidneys, is set to be made much much worse.

Its called accidentalising and natural causalising their deaths.

So, there may have been six million people here before the 1700s boat people turned up...

Thanks, and deep respect, to outgoing senator Pat Dodson.

Wishing him courage and strength in his health challenge.

Somehow we always seem to be at square one, but there's a lot to love in this story.

Oh dear, they certainly fucked that up. Ok concerned community members trying to prevent vandalism I might have accepted, but they had to go all the way.....

They were in act concerned white men!

I'm loving this story. Uncle Jim Everett-puralia meenamatta has no fucks to give about colonial law, especially when it comes to saving ancient old growth rainforest in Tassie. All power to him. He might just spark a constitutional law debate into the bargain.

Inspirational stuff.
