Re: Australia Far Right Watch

Ah but the ban didn't require a constitutional amendment, so removing it doesn't. An honest Democratic politician, seeing this level of support among the populace for a particular positions, would have taken a good look at what they were doing anyway! (using democratic as in the other meaning, not ...

Re: Australia Far Right Watch

Florida requires 60% for a constitutional ammendment to pass and has since long before this election rolled around.

De Santis might be all sorts of things but in this instance the ballot failed to meet the legally required benchmark.

Re: Electric + Human-Powered Vehicles

My own vehicle is currently a 1992 ute.

Never whines, is cheap to register and insure, and i save the carbon from a new build.

Wouldn't mind power steering tho.

Re: Donald Trump

I think you might be reporting the party registration of mail in voters, which doesn't necessarily reflect their actual vote. Many usians register strategically so they can vote in primaries.

Also 60% of them are over 65. Which has to skew things.

I would have thought mail in votes would not generally be counted before election day, much less shouted to the universe.

Who thought that was a good idea?

Re: Bad Language

Not really bad language, buuuut... I was driving behind a bus and the back of the bus was advertising a brand of pie often found in servos. The catchy phrase in big letters was "now with more of the finest beef" And i thought, you know, that really isn't the killer hook you appear to think it is.
