Florida requires 60% for a constitutional ammendment to pass and has since long before this election rolled around.

I think you might be reporting the party registration of mail in voters, which doesn't necessarily reflect their actual vote. Many usians register strategically so they can vote in primaries.

I would have thought mail in votes would not generally be counted before election day, much less shouted to the universe.

Not really bad language, buuuut... I was driving behind a bus and the back of the bus was advertising a brand of pie often found in servos. The catchy phrase in big letters was "now with more of the finest beef" And i thought, you know, that really isn't the killer hook you appear to think it is.
