Re: Donald Trump
I did agree with the rough conclusion that unless you resolve the economic conditions that are impoverishing ever expanding numbers of people, fascist solutions will maintain their momentum. The only way to do that is to radically reform capitalism and global resource distribution, which to me ...

Re: Gadgets
I've had my Osmo Action 4 for a while now. And it has to be the best action camera on the market at the moment. From memory I waited until the Black Friday sales and got it for around $400-$500. Worth every cent. I'm still learning all it's functionality. I looked in to the Go Pro 12 as well but ...

Re: Donald Trump
So many similarities to pre-war Nazi Germany and late Roman empire....... Trump can't lose now. I've felt for a long time now that the USA is irredeemable. Nothing that is happening is changing my mind. It's a third world country run by oligarchs and authoritarians... Fun fact, I was in the USA 3 ...

Re: What shows are you currently watching?
We've just finished True Detective series 4, the one with Jodie Foster. And it very very good. One of the best this year I'm sure.
I'm also watching Masters of the Air. It's no 'Band of Brothers' but it's still very good.

Monsieur Spade. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoRPIEtbcBM It's been a long time since The Maltese Falcon. 1963, France. The Sam Spade character transfers well, the scenery's to die for, and the writing's pretty good. Really enjoyed this. It telegraphed its moves a little but the story was ...
