Re: Donald Trump

I think the problem is, regardless of what various analysts say on either side, no one actually knew what Iran was doing as they were not complying with the IAEA as per the pervious agreements.

The International Atomic Energy Agency report is as below

Summary

Re: Interesting/Notable/Weird news that doesn't need it's own thread

Very little coverage in the media about this report, I can only find 'The Age' and 'Australian Jewish News' seeming to mention this report.. Interesting considering how damning this is of a rather prestigious university. Talking to family this really is barely the tip of the iceberg when it comes to ...

Re: Another new party.

Saw a post on Twitter, mentioning a new political party.

From their web page

No. The Muslim Vote is not a political party , and it does not intend to become either of these in the future. The Muslim Vote is a united collective mobilising the grassroots to participate in the electoral process ...

Re: Alternative Electricity Generation Sources

The next thing that should happen is that variable feed-in rates are rolled out,

I actually have that at the moment, the highest feed-in rate is around 7-10pm, but it is only a few cents more than the lowest rate.. So after the 0.04c rollout in July those will be adjusted, but I am guessing (If ...

Re: Alternative Electricity Generation Sources

Victoria drops solar feed in rebate further, now 3.3 cents per kwh. At the same time retail prices are still rising meaning household battery storage is becoming a necessity in Vic.

Well I should probably update this, the rate in Victoria will be (as of July 2025) only 0.04 of a cent per kwh ...

Re: Donald Trump

the Trump/Musk backed far right AfD in Germany underperformed so it looks like they won't get any representation in government. They still increased their vote share, but I suspect that as Trump/Musk craters the economy for the US and the rest of the world it may have negative effects on the far ...
